My daughter swapped courses and did Business Studies A Level in one year. With three months to go until her exams, a low-level predicted grade and some fairly unhelpful teachers I found Jack online and said to my daughter “Just try a session, you have nothing to lose”. After her first session, she was very confident she wanted to have a weekly tutor session and was very enthused by his lesson.
I can’t recommend Jack enough, helpful, approachable, always contactable and very willing to explain anything any number of times.
Extra lessons are available when needed and some group tutor clinics with others are also really good for swapping notes and tips.

As a parent, my biggest challenge was being unable to help my son with his coursework. I also believe that becoming a “home tutor” to your children places an added strain on the parent/child relationship, which can negatively impact family life.

I found the transition from GCSE to A level more difficult than I thought it would be, and the harder I worked, the worse my results seemed to be. I was really stressed and found it difficult to complete my mock exams within the allocated time, which caused me to panic.
